“ENTELEC Working With API To Promote Telecommunications In The Oil And Natural Gas Industry”

ENTELEC is proud to be working with The Telecommunications Committee of the American Petroleum Institute (API) to promote telecommunications in the oil and natural gas industry.

API serves as a forum to consider telecommunications matters impacting operations in the oil, natural gas and energy industry. The Committee monitors regulatory developments at the Federal Communications Commission and elsewhere, interceding when necessary to satisfy the needs and concerns of the energy industry. The Committee addresses communications management issues and fosters quality enterprise communications services by developing and implementing telecommunications policies and strategies.

Celebrating its 80th Anniversary, ENTELEC’s next conference will be held from April 9-11, 2008, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. General sessions, breakouts, round table discussions, expositions, and networking events will offer attendees the chance to experience first-hand what is happening in the energy industries and allow professionals to network and exchange ideas.

API will be exhibiting at the ENTELEC conference and presenting its video entitled, “API 101, An Introduction to Telecommunications in the Oil and Gas Industry.” Please visit API at booth # 342
