ENTELEC Has A New Look! Tour Our New Website

Several significant events occurred in the year 1928. One was the first official TV program broadcast in the United States; another was the formation of our ENTELEC user association.

Few knew at the time that television would evolve into a cultural lifeblood that users now are capable of accessing from the palm of their hand. Try explaining that to someone in 1928.

Since forming in the 1920s, ENTELEC has remained true to its roots; fostering the exchange of industry knowledge and experience to pour back into the energy, telecommunications, and electrical industries.

Now, nearly 100 years later, we are introducing a new modern look to continue advancing with available technology to serve our association members.

Why Did We Introduce A New Look and Website?

Look, we knew that the current usage of our website was less than we desired to serve our members. We also knew that it was essential to our future to have a functional website that could be easily maintained, helping prospective members and current members access key information.

Information that can be easily accessed from our website includes:

  • Calendar of Events
  • ENTELEC Conference & Expo Information
  • How to Get Involved
  • Membership Application
  • Scholarship and Silver Scribe Award Applications

We are also industry leaders. Therefore, as a professional organization serving other professionals, we believe that our website should match our industry leadership role.

“Bringing an entirely new design and feeling to the website will help our members see that we are still keeping up with changes in the marketplace to better serve the association,” says William Gage, ENTELEC VP.

How Will We Serve ENTELEC Members Better?

ENTELEC anticipates better serving members and vendors with more easily accessible information.

It is important to us that information can be easily found at a click of a button. Therefore, we also enhanced the membership offering of our website.

ENTELEC members will be able to access information that includes:

  • Associate Member Directory
  • Regulatory & Technology Committee Info
  • Career Center
  • Webinar Archive
  • Conference Presentation Archive
  • Library

We are also launching a new LinkedIn page that will replace the member’s forum. This will allow us to easily manage and facilitate conversation and discussion throughout the year.

Take a Tour of the New Website!

Please browse the new ENTELEC.org website, log into your member account to access resources, and contact us if you have any questions.

We believe the new changes to our website will propel us past the 100-year mark of our industry association. Our new focus will also set us up to reach even greater heights serving the energy, telecommunications, and electrical industries.

We look forward to connecting with you in person at the ENTELEC conference & expo this May in Houston. If you are not an ENTELEC member, need to renew, or have not registered for the ENTELEC conference, be sure to register today!
