The ENTELEC Association’s mission is to provide an educational platform for the energy industries including technical presentations, industry training programs, equipment exhibits and networking opportunities.
These educational and networking events happen throughout the year beginning with the Annual Spring Conference & Expo, the Annual Golf Tournament, the Summer Shandy Membership Mixer, the Fall Seminar and the Fall Sporting Clays Tournament. The Association events are either free for members or available and reduced registration fees.
ENTELEC also sponsors quarterly Regulatory & Technology committee calls and monthly educational webinars which are free to all member companies.
The ENTELEC Annual Spring Conference & Expo takes place in Houston, Texas each year and features 30+ hours of technical education, industry training programs, operator case studies and roundtable discussions. The event features 150 exhibit booths and daily networking events. The flagship event for the association brings together over 1,000 IT and OT professionals from across the energy sectors. Full Conference registration is free for Corporate / Operator members and includes access to all technical education, training programs, networking and the exhibits.
The Fall Seminar is a one-day, in-depth conference featuring technical education and industry training that is pertinent to the specific conference location. The event has been held in the Permian Basin for several years and will be returning to the Midland / Odessa area for 2020. The event is a great opportunity to break away for a day of education, training, regulatory updates and networking at a very low registration fee.
Annual Golf Tournament is held in conjunction with the Annual Spring Conference & Expo and proceeds benefit the Wayne V. Black Memorial Scholarship fund. The ENTELEC Association, in conjunction with Keller and Heckman, have awarded over $70,000 in scholarships since the fund was created in 2008 in honor of the former ENTELEC General Council Wayne V. Black of Keller and Heckman.
Summer Shandy Membership Mixer is a free event for association members and perspective members and has been hosted at the Saint Arnolds brewery in Houston. The casual member networking event is held in July each year and is a great opportunity to make new connections and catch up with industry colleagues and friends. Check the events page for this year’s location and date and plan to come out and enjoy some iconic micro-brews and great food.
Fall Sporting Clays Tournament is the association’s fall networking event and a chance to get out for a great relaxing afternoon of shooting and networking. Sporting Clays is essentially golf with a shot-gun and is designed to simulate bird hunting. The event is great fun for the experienced and the novice. Register as an individual or a team and plan to make some new industry connections and build relationships.
